“Two years ago I hadn’t read any Shakespeare. Now I study it like a religion!”
-Shoa Clarke, Student, Portland High School

“Once you've taught Shakespeare through performance like this, you know it is the only way to teach his plays!”
- Roger Cantello, English Teacher, Ethel Walker School, Simsbury, CT

“ This [approach] has definitely changed me. At the beginning of the year I was a shy person and was too nervous to even talk in front of my peers. I am a different person now. I have a more outgoing personality due to working on this unit.”
-Marcy Regan, Student, Portland High School
